I have been practising Reiki for ten years. It is an energetic care method where the practitioner canalizes universal energy and transmits it to the person by apposition of the hands.
This method comes from Japan. The word Reiki is made of two syllabus: "REI" which means mind and "ki" which means universal energy.
Unfolding of the programme:

The person lies down on the massage table and receives the care from an initiated practitioner, well trained to the Reiki Usui method.

The practitioner apposes his hands on various parts of the person' body ( the chakras) according to a well defined protocal. The person keeps her clothes on.

The Reiki untangles physical and mental tensions and harmonizes the different levels of a human being. It reduces stress, brings calm, relaxation, interior peace and a general well-being.

A Reiki programme lasts between 1h and 1h30 with musical back ground.
